If you need predictablity van contract hire may be for you. You will know exactly what you will be spending each month in all cases. Maintenance can even be included, and normally only adds between £10-20 per month for an average mileage. Van contract hire can, work out more expensive than finance leasing if you do quite a few miles, or the vehicle suffers a hard life. A inspection is done at the contract's end, for damage, which isn't part of the agreement. There is a misconception that it is easier to pass the finance with car or van contract hire than other methods of finance or purchase.
Many customers with poor credit ask for contract hire, since they wrongly believe there is no credit check. Contract hire generally is for companies who are limited, VAT registered with at least two years profitable accounts.
- Low deposits, as low as 1 payment in advance
- VAT on top of payments but is claimed back
- 100% of van contract hire rental goes against tax
- At the end just hand back
- Maintenance, servicing, tax tyres, replacement car can all be included in the rental for completeness
- Satellite tracking options for larger fleets that record who was driving the vehicle, and when, and how their driving was.
- Optional monthly insurance that takes care of minor dinks and dents of the vehicle, scratches, seat burns etc.
- The only drawbacks are that you may well have quite a bill at the end for tyres, brakes etc or damage,
or if you go over the agreed mileage there is a penalty. You may well be banned from signwriting the vehicle, or recieve a cleaning bill at the end for removing the stickers.
- Plylining is sometimes included within the price, but not always.
The biggest advantage to this funding method is predictability, especially for larger fleets. The vehicle is returned at the end. Imagine if you are running a thousand vehicles and you are a PLC. If something happened to resale values, you share price would crash!
Credit check van contract hire

|
If you think your credit sucks, you may be right. If it does have a look here. The majority of customers are accepted. Many customers think contract hire is easy, and there is no credit check. It is actually a far harder to pass, with many companies now only accepting VAT, Ltd companies with three years accounts. The opposite is true for this adverse, CCJ contract hire. Cheap payments too.
