Caddy from VW / Volkswagen
The Volkswagen or VW Caddy has transformed recently. It is now based on a Golf floorplan which is far superior to the previous Caddys which resembled a Seat, in looks and build. There are basically two engine in the VW Caddy versions, a non turbo SDi version, which in fairness goes quite well thanks to it's exceptional torque. The TDI verson with it's 102 PS engine is a flyer, and returns a decent MPG as well. The vehicles are exceptional at towing due to their weight and the beefed up suspension over the Golf. The VW Caddy only has ever had one drawback. Availability. You need to plan ahead and whilst we may be lucky and get you one immediately, it may well take 8-10 weeks, if stock has dropped. But we think the VW Caddy is worth it.
